Lhabab Duchen Festival or Buddha Sakyamuni’s Descent Day from the Trāyastriṃśa heaven down to earth. Buddha’s mother Mayadevi was reborn heaven. To repay her kindness and to liberate her, and also to benefit the gods, Buddha spent three months teachings in the realm of the gods.
The Lhabab Duchen is great holy days of the Buddhist calendar, takes place this year on Tuesday, November 19/ 2019.

Not only do the liberated animals receive the benifits and blessing, they will also gain rebirth in the higher realms.
Animal liberation practice is also strongly encouraged for those plagued by illness or heavy life obstacles, it helps you to have a long life too. By saving the lives of others, one creates the strong karmic cause for long life. All these inconceivable merits accumulated will then be dedicated to the long life of all the sentient beings in the world.
If you liberate animals, it helps you to have a long life, or you can dedicate the merit from their liberation to those who have life obstacles. In this life we are human beings, which is due to our past good karma ripening. But human beings have so much physical and mental suffering, no freedom, and are completely overwhelmed by delusion and karma. Fortunately, we have met the Dharma. The animal realm has terrible suffering, and the best thing is to think of something that benefits them.
