The Dalai Lama’s birthday is celebrated as one of the grandest events of Tibetan community and peace loving people all over the world.
Menlhai Jamtse Tibetan Buddhist Centre Mumbai has organized a special programe at Global Fusion Versova to celebrate the 87th Birthday of His Holiness The 14th Dalai Lama. The programe started with enthronment ceremony, long life prayers and reading out a brief biography of His Holiness The 14th Dalai Lama. Followed by the Brief introduction of four commitments of his Holiness by Geshe lobsang Tenzin la.
Thereafter the Cake cutting ceremony and Tibetan popular circle dance( Gorshe) and few Hindi numbers. Our programe ends with the delicious buffet lunch. The event was a well attended by Tibetans in Mumbai and many Indian Dharma friends. The centre would like to express sincere thanks and the deep appreciations to all the special Invited guest, our members, supporters, and to all the volunteers who had come forwarded to organize this successful and memorable event.
