The Menlhai Jamtse Tibetan Buddhist Centre is committed to upholding the four principal commitments of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, which aim to address global conflicts, reduce tensions, and promote peace through Universal Ethics. The centre seeks to create a permanent facility to accommodate more students and visitors, offering a main temple, classrooms, retreat spaces, and accommodations for practitioners. It will provide teachings on Buddhist philosophy, meditation, mind training, logic, psychology, and secular programs to foster human goodness. Additionally, the centre plans to focus on environmental studies and promote the Tibetan language, aiming to revive the ancient Indian Nalanda tradition as advocated by His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
